Ref Bible College was founded in the year 2016 in Ibadan, Oyo State of Nigeria, with an on-site class of students drawn from neighborhood Churches. In 2019, the Covid 19 pandemic changed the process of education all over the world, so to observe the pandemic precautions, there was a break in physical classroom meetings. In the year 2021 however, RBC began preparation for online classes which eventually led to the online admissions for various courses in 2024. Expansion to other African countries started late 2024 when students enrolled from Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, Lesotho, Burundi etc
